Promo Mechanics

1. Promo period is from April 29 to May 24 extended to May 30, 2022 Approved by DTI-FTEB.
2. This promo is open to all new and existing Maya consumer accountholders that have complete/upgraded accounts and are currently residing in the Philippines, who will accomplish the tasks in the Maya Missions within the promo duration.
3. Basic Maya consumer accountholders can also participate in the promo and get a chance to win prizes if they complete/upgrade their account.
4. Each unique upgraded user can participate in the promo and earn points for each mission successfully accomplished on the Maya Missions page.
5. Each point correspond to raffle entries.
6. Points per mission and the corresponding number of times that a consumer can do each mission for the entire promo period will be as follows:
7. Qualified participants will receive an SMS notification after each successfully finished Missions.

   “You earned XXX Early Access points for cashing in to your Wallet. Well done! You now have XXX points towards becoming Bitcoin Millionaire. Check your rank at maya.ph/earlyaccess.

8. Each user can earn points/raffle entries and get a chance to win the following prizes:

9. Users who have an upgraded/complete account, will get access to Maya Savings with 6% interest rate upon account opening.
10. User access to Maya Savings is subject to eligibility criteria, terms and conditions.
11. There will be 2 winners for Master (₱1 Million worth of Bitcoin), 1 winner for Enthusiast (₱600,000 worth of Bitcoin), and 1 winner for Explorer (₱300,000 worth of Bitcoin) tier of points.
12. All participants who opened a Maya Savings account automatically qualify for a chance to win ₱1 Million worth of Bitcoin in the raffle.
13. Users can earn points during the promo period and only after the necessary transactions are cleared and posted.
14. Cash in transactions from the following channels are excluded from the promo:
    1. Receive money from other Maya accounts thru send money feature
    2. Receive money from Negosyo accounts
15. Bills pay transactions made at the following billers are excluded from the promo:
    1. “Government” category billers
    2. “Donation” category billers
    3. “Others” category billers
    4. “Payment Solutions” category billers
    5. Unionbank
16. QR transactions made at the following merchants are excluded from the promo:
    1. Negosyo merchants
    2. “Donation” category merchants
    3. “Government” category merchants
17. Items bought from Maya Shop must be for self-loading only and not for gifting to be qualified to earn points.
18. Splitting of payment transactions will not be allowed. A single transaction that is split into multiple payments with the intention of getting multiple or higher discounts will NOT qualify.
19. Maya users who have previously upgraded/completed their account prior April 29 to May 30, 2022 are NOT eligible to earn points under step 6i.
20. The Maya feedback form link under step 6e can be accessed only thru SMS that will be sent once a user does any of the Maya Missions tasks under Step 6.
21. Points generated from missions in Step 6e and 6f will be reflected within 3 to 7 banking days.
22. Users who submit a feedback entry without doing any of the Maya Missions tasks in Step 6 will not be eligible to earn points for the Maya feedback mission.
23. Only unique entries in the Maya feedback Mission under Step 6e will be eligible to earn points.
24. Deposit to Maya Savings mission under Step 6d is available only to eligible existing Maya users, as reflected under Step 9.
25. Qualified participants for the Bitcoin raffle will be drawn via MS Teams based on the following schedule:

26. Every raffle draw will be conducted via Microsoft Teams with a DTI representative. The promo organizer’s decision to award the prizes to the selected winners is final with the concurrence of DTI-FTEB.
27. Only users with upgraded accounts can get a chance to win the prizes. A user whose mobile number / name was drawn but does not have an upgraded account will not be considered a winner.
28. The names of all the winners will be announced on the Official Maya Facebook page.
29. The winner will be notified via e-mail, phone call to their Maya-registered mobile number and via registered mail. A Maya representative will get in touch with the winners to verify their identity and to give further instructions on prize redemption.
30. Maya will buy the Bitcoin for the prospective winners at the time it will be credited to their Maya crypto account to match the current price at the day.
31. Maya will reach out to promo winners within seven (7) business days after the announcement of the winners has been made on social media.
32. Promo winners must inform Maya the account where the Bitcoin prize will be credited to, within thirty (30) days after a Maya representative has reached out to them.
33. A user can only win once per draw.
34. A participating user from a higher tier who did not win or was not chosen in the raffle draw corresponding to his or her tier may still qualify for the raffle draw corresponding to the next lower tier. However, a user from a lower tier will never be considered for a raffle draw in the higher tier.
35. Prizes are non-transferable and not convertible to cash.
36. Maya shall shoulder the 20% withholding tax for prizes exceeding P10,000.
37. Redemption period of prizes is until 60 days upon receipt of notification.
38. Deadline of submission and accepting of raffle entries is on May 30, 2022 at 11:59:59 PM.
39. Failure to comply with any of the requirements or the terms and conditions herein, will have the winners forfeit their winnings with prior approval from the DTI-FTEB.
40. With prior approval of DTI, Maya reserves the right to declare forfeiture of prize in the event that the winner fails to claim the prize within the allotted period of redemption.
41. The winners must agree to be interviewed and featured in announcements to be made by Maya regarding the promo in any of the following channels: website, social media, print and online media.
42. Videos and photos of participants may be used only for promotional ads related to this campaign.
43. Maya users with merchant accounts and those under Maya Negosyo are disqualified from participating in this promo.
44. All regular and contractual employees of Maya Bank, Inc., Voyager Innovations, Inc. including their relatives up to second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from joining the promotion/raffle.
45. This promo is applicable to unique and valid Maya accounts only. Maya reserves the right to withdraw rewards or prizes if one person has already received the prize or benefit, even if already issued.
46. Maya users with duplicate accounts or who are blacklisted cannot participate in this promo. Maya reserves the right to cancel or withdraw the prize or benefit if proven to be a duplicate account or participant is blacklisted.
47. In case of disputes regarding customer's eligibility for the promo, coverage of dates, fulfillment, Maya's decision shall prevail, in concurrence with DTI.
48. Maya reserves the right to refuse the awarding of rewards or prizes to accounts that are proven to be invalid or fraudulent or a result of gaming (i.e. abuse of system or weakness in the promo to win prizes or receive benefits).
49. Maya users with merchant accounts and those under Maya Negosyo are disqualified from participating in this promo.
50. Should the qualified transaction be cancelled or declined, whether the cancellation is customer- or biller-initiated, Maya reserves the right to withdraw the cashback or reward equivalent to the cancelled payment transaction, even if the cashback or reward has already been credited. Maya reserves the right to debit any points/cash reward credited from your balance. If your balance is insufficient to cover the amount to be withdrawn at the time of withdrawal, Maya reserves the right to debit the balance not withdrawn when your balance is sufficient.
51. Any prize received by the qualified user shall be deemed final unless the customer files a complaint within 30 days from the end of the promo period. The decision of Maya on the complaint with concurrence of DTI-FTEB shall be considered final. 52. All Maya users must follow strict compliance with mandatory social distancing requirements as imposed by the Philippine government to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. For your health and safety, always remember to maintain spacing of at least 1 meter in diameter between you and other people while in public areas.
