Maya’s partnership with digital payments platform PayPal is set to upgrade how freelancers and small business owners receive digital payments from clients.
By choosing Maya as a withdrawal option for your Business PayPal account, all payments made by your online clients or customers can be transferred directly to your Maya account!
How to link your Maya and PayPal accounts:
1. Ensure that there is a balance of at least P100 in your Maya account. Load your account at any Load Up Partner outlet.
2. Create or log in to your PayPal account.

3. Go to Money > Add a new card.

4. Enter your card information. PayPal address must be an exact match to the address in your Maya registration, or you will receive an error message.

5. Anticipate a charge of $1 to your Maya card as PayPal authenticates your account. This amount is immediately refunded after a few minutes.

Why You Should Link Your PayPal to Maya:
1. Transferring funds from PayPal is completely free!
All you need to do is link your Maya and PayPal accounts as shown above and follow this step-by-step withdrawal process:
- Click Withdraw Funds in the PayPal home screen. Minimum withdrawal amount from PayPal is P500.
- Withdraw from your PayPal balance to your linked Maya account.
- Expect the funds to register in your Maya account within 24 hours. No fees charged!
2. You enjoy the fastest remittance rate for PayPal payments.
Once you’ve completed the process of moving money from PayPal to your Maya, you should get confirmation of the successful transfer in your Maya app or via SMS to your registered number within the day.
