If you’re a fresh graduate looking for a job, or a wanderer applying for a visa or a passport, this one’s for you! Did you know that you can also pay for your birth certificate through Maya?
No need to go out and line up. Just make sure you’ve loaded up your Maya account (Read: How to load up your Maya). Then proceed to the following steps:
Step 1: Order your birth certificate online
Visit nsohelpline.ph/order-now and click ‘Birth Certificate’. This will take you to the Birth Certificate Application Form. Fill this up along with your preferred delivery address and contact details, then proceed to ‘Checkout’.
Step 2: Pay with Maya
After filling up the form, you will receive an SMS message with a reference number and a prompt to go to nsohelpline.com/pay-online > Click ‘Pay via Credit Card’ > Input your Maya details > Click ‘Proceed’.
In case someone else will pay for your birth certificate — perhaps your mom or kuya who’s out of town — you can also send them your reference number so they can pay NSO through the Maya app! All they need to do is to open the app > Click ‘Pay Bills’ in the menu > Click the NSO icon among the list of billers > Input the reference number and amount > Hit ‘Send’.
Step 3: Check the status of your order
Using your reference number, you can check your order status in real-time. Just go to nsohelpline.com/check-status
