CATCH AN ADVENTURE

1. MASUNGI GEORESERVE

If you want an outdoors adventure like going on a hike but find that most places are just too far, Masungi Georeserve is your barkada’s best best. The Georeserve can be found in Tanay, Rizal and is one of the most sought after destinations at the moment.  Complete a group of 7-14 and for P1,000 each, you get a 4-hour hike with your friends, a park ranger to show you around, and a picnic set up with a stunning view.

2. DECA WAKE PARK

Feeling a bit more extreme? The Deca Wakeboard Park in Davao is the biggest wakeboarding facility in the Philippines. Wakeboarding is a popular sport that combines snowboarding, waterskiing, and surfing. You are towed by an overhead cable, and are launched in the air at varying speeds when you hit ramps and slides positioned at different angles. The rates range from P400/2 hours, P700/4 hours on weekdays, with an increase of P100 on weekends.

3. TRAMPOLINE PARK ZERO GRAVITY ZONE

Want to take a break from being adults? Hop on the trampoline and leave your worries up in the air.  For P320, you can jump non-stop and even play volleyball, basketball, dodgeball, parkour, go on a dance workout, or just somersault into a yard full of yellow and purple foam. Plus, it counts as a work out! Primary co-founder of Trampoline Park Mark Hogsden says, “Trampolining is extremely powerful for your core, because in every jump you need to tighten your core muscles in order to control your body position.” Zero Gravity Zone is located in The Portal at Greenfield District

4. MAD TRAVEL PH: TRAVEL WITH A PURPOSE

“Adventures that matter” is their tagline. Discover a beautiful destination far from the regular tourist trail. You’ll not only get to trek through beautiful mountains, you’ll also get to rebuild a 3000-hectare rainforest through the tree-planting activities and immerse yourself among the Aeta indigenous community. For P1000 per head, there’s lunch and snacks, planting trees, swimming, trekking, archery, and tribal dance.  Try their local cuisine, island hopping, and enjoy jamming and bonfires on the beach. Part of the proceeds will go to continuing rebuilding the 3000-hectare rainforest to fight climate change.
