Promo Mechanics

1. The promo will run from May 25 to August 31, 2023.
2. The promo is open to all new and existing Maya users who will purchase their LRT-1 QR ticket in the Maya app.
3. Qualified users will be able to avail of FREE LRT-1 Ride promo when they purchase their QR ticket in the Maya app.
4. Only those transactions made via Maya app will be qualified for the promo.
5. To purchase LRT-1 QR Ticket in the Maya app, follow these steps:
   1. Open your Maya app and tap ‘Services’
   2. Scroll down to ‘Lifestyle’ and tap ‘LRT-1’
   3. Tap ‘Buy beep QR ticket’
   4. Choose ‘LRT-1’ as operator then tap ‘Next’ and select route
   5. Select ‘Origin’ and ‘Destination’ of choice then tap ‘Next’
   6. Review your transaction details and then tap ‘Buy’
   7. Receive QR ticket in the app and scan at the Maya Fast Lane turnstiles
6. Qualified users are eligible to avail of FREE LRT-1 Ride promo for a maximum of one (1) transaction per month only within the promo duration.
7. Qualified users will receive their reward as a redeemable cashback voucher inside the Maya app.
8. To redeem the LRT-1 fare cashback voucher, follow these steps:
   1. Open the Maya app and log in to your account
   2. Scroll down and tap ‘Vouchers’ in the home screen
   3. Select the voucher you want to redeem under ‘Available’ and tap ‘Claim’
   4. Review the details and amount of the voucher and tap ‘Claim Now’
   5. You will receive a notification of the voucher redemption in-app and via SMS
   6. Redeemed voucher amount will be reflected in your Maya account balance
9. LRT-1 fare cashback voucher will only have 60-days redemption period. Unclaimed vouchers will expire.
10. Qualified users will receive their fare cashback voucher when they successfully purchase their QR ticket in the Maya app worth at least ₱14.00.
11. Qualified users who will purchase their LRT-1 QR ticket in the Maya app can receive a maximum cashback of ₱31.00.
12. Qualified users will receive their cashback anytime from their qualified transaction to up to fourteen (14) business days after the promo period.
13. This promo is applicable to unique and valid Maya accounts only. Multiple transactions/payments made from the same device using different mobile numbers will not be considered valid.
14. Refunded transactions made through the Maya app will not qualify for this promo.
15. This promo cannot be used in conjunction with other ongoing promos of Maya.
16. Users with duplicate accounts or who are blacklisted cannot participate in this promo.
17. Maya reserves the right to refuse the awarding of cashback or rewards to accounts that are proven to be invalid or fraudulent (i.e. abuse of system or weakness in the promo to win prizes or receive benefits).
18. Maya reserves the right to withdraw cashback or rewards to invalid accounts even if the user has already received the cashback or benefit.
19. Users with duplicate accounts or who are blacklisted cannot participate in this promo.
20. Should the qualified transaction be cancelled or declined, whether the cancellation is customer- or merchant-initiated, Maya reserves the right to withdraw the cashback or rewards equivalent to the cancelled payment transaction, even if the cashback has already been credited. Maya reserves the right to debit any points/cash reward credited from your balance. If your balance is insufficient to cover the amount to be withdrawn at the time of withdrawal, Maya reserves the right to debit the balance not withdrawn when your balance is sufficient.
21. Maya users with merchant accounts and those under Maya Business app are disqualified from participating in this promo.
22. Maya users who have exceeded their aggregate limits may not receive their cashback on time. The cashback can only be credited the following month or once a user’s account balance is once again within the allowable limits – ₱50,000 for starter accounts and ₱100,000 for upgraded accounts.
23. The customer must notify Maya for any complaints regarding the promo. The decision of Maya on the complaint with concurrence of DTI-FTEB shall be considered final. For clarifications and complaints relative to this promo, please call (+632) 8845-7788 or email support@maya.ph.
24. In the purchase of goods and services which are on promotional discount, the senior citizen can avail of the promotional discount, or the discount provided under the Expanded Senior Citizens Act of 2010, whichever is higher.
