PayMaya brings digital payments via QR technology to sari-sari stores

Residents of Malolos, Bulacan can now pay their suking sari-sari stores via digital payments using PayMaya QR. PayMaya Philippines, the country’s leading payments technology company is now deploying payments via Quick Response (QR) code technology down to the grassroots level. Smart Padala partner agents with sari-sari stores in Malolos City are now equipped with PayMaya QR. Malolos City is the first community in the country where even microentrepreneurs can enjoy the convenience and security of scan-to-pay technology. This is part of PayMaya’s initiatives to promote cashless payments and create digital cities nationwide.
