Traditional ‘aguinaldo’ goes digital with PayMaya Pamasko

No matter how busy you are or how far you may be from your inaanak, there’s no excuse to hide from them this Christmas with the PayMaya Pamasko feature on PayMaya in Messenger!

It’s easier than ever to #ShareTheLove this season because you can now send a gift with just a few taps on your Messenger app. Account holders may even add a cute holiday frame and a personal note to make their love and presence felt this season of giving. PayMaya Pamasko feature is available in the Messenger app for Android users until the end of December 2017.

Give the gift of online or mobile shopping credits to your inaanak with these simple steps:

Step 1: Open a chatbox with PayMaya

Step 2: Click ‘Promos & Gifts’ > ‘Send Aguinaldo’

Step 3: Choose your recipient

Step 4: Input amount. Swipe to choose a holiday theme then add a short message!

Step 5: Review details and click ‘Confirm Payment’

Step 6: Enter your Facebook password

Step 7: Your aguinaldo has been sent!

Just a few reminders before you start sharing:

1. Make sure your PayMaya account is linked to the Messenger app – To link your account, just start a chat with @PayMayaOfficial, select ‘Money’, then ‘Start an account’ or ‘I have an account’.

2. Once you have linked your account, make sure you have enough PayMaya credits – Know where to load up your account here: paymaya.com/loadup-centers.

3. Senders need to have an upgraded account – The PayMaya Pamasko feature works like the “Send Money” function in the PayMaya or Messenger app. Account holders would need to have an upgraded account to send money, while recipients don’t have to be upgraded to receive funds.
