What will happen to the PayMaya products and services with the change to Maya?
PayMaya is now Maya, which is powered by the country's only end-to-end digital payments company PayMaya Philippines, Inc. and enhanced by Maya Bank for digital banking services. This means that Filipinos will experience both payments and digital bank in all-in-one money platform.
The PayMaya app is now the Maya app, the all-in-one money app for every Filipino. The app combines a feature-rich wallet and includes a secure, progressive digital banking experience powered by Maya Bank.
The PayMaya Enterprise is now Maya Business. With the Maya Business, all types of businesses will grow in bolder directions through effortless payments and money management solutions.
Smart Padala is now Maya Center, the neighborhood destination for every Filipino’s day-to-day money needs. Its nationwide network of partner agents will bring a friendly way to facilitate remittances, payments, and other transactions for people with limited access to the internet. (Note that while Smart Padala will be transformed into Maya Center, domestic remittance remain as Smart Padala service.)
Is PayMaya Philippines, Inc. a separate legal entity from Maya Bank, Inc.?
Yes. While they are registered as separate legal entities, PayMaya and Maya Bank will provide an all-in-one, integrated digital payments and digital bank services to the whole Maya ecosystem of consumers, businesses, communities, and government agencies alike via the Maya app (formerly PayMaya app), Maya Business (formerly PayMaya Enterprise), and Maya Center (formerly Smart Padala).
Is Maya a separate legal entity from PayMaya and Maya Bank?
