The 6% introductory interest rate is only applicable to Maya Savings Account holders only during this promo period: December 6, 2023 to January 3, 2024

Interest earned is accrued daily and will be deposited to the customer’s Maya Savings account every first calendar day of the succeeding month, minus applicable withholding taxes. A sample computation of the interest earned by a depositor during the promo period is shown

Average Daily Balance is computed as the sum of the End-of-Day balance of the account (i.e., as of 11:59pm) for each day that the account is open during the promo period, divided by the number of days that the account is open during the promo period.

This interest rate promo or benefit is applicable to unique and valid Maya Savings accounts only. Maya users with duplicate accounts or who are blacklisted cannot participate in this promo. Maya reserves the right to cancel or withdraw the benefit if proven to be a duplicate account or participant is blacklisted.
Maya reserves the right to refuse the imposition of promo interest to accounts that are proven to be invalid or fraudulent or a result of gaming (i.e. abuse of system or weakness in the promo to win prizes or receive benefits).

Promo Mechanics and Benefits
1. Qualified Personal Goals accounts will be bound by the terms & conditions of Maya Personal Goals as found in this link.
2. Qualified users will get a total of 6% p.a. in interest earnings upon opening of their 6-month Personal Goal that they opened within the promo period of November 29, 2024 – January 31, 2025. See sample scenario below:
3. Qualified users are allowed to open up to a maximum of 5 Personal Goals within the promo period.
4. This promo is applicable to unique and valid Maya accounts only. Multiple transactions/payments made from the same device using different mobile numbers will not be considered valid.

Terms & Conditions

Maya account holders who are blacklisted due to a violation of a Maya promo, or who has violated or is subsequently found to be in violation of any of the terms and conditions of Maya are not qualified to participate in this promo.
Users with duplicate accounts or who are blacklisted cannot participate in the promo.
Maya reserves the right to refuse the awarding of cashback or rewards to accounts that are proven to be invalid or fraudulent (i.e. abuse of system in the promo to win prizes or receive benefits).
Maya reserves the right to withhold the granting of rewards where there is a suspected or suspicious customer activity that requires further investigation.
If a prize or benefit has already been awarded and the violation or fraudulent activity is discovered after being awarded, Maya shall have the right to clawback the prize or reward given.
Should the qualified transaction be canceled, voided, refunded, or declined, whether the cancellation is customer, biller or merchant-initiated, Maya reserves the right to withdraw the rewards equivalent to the canceled payment transaction, even if the reward has already been credited. Maya reserves the right to debit any points/rewards credited from your balance. If your balance is insufficient to cover the amount to be withdrawn at the time of the withdrawal, Maya reserves the right to debit balance not withdrawn when your balance becomes sufficient.
Maya users with merchant accounts and those under Maya Negosyo and Maya Business Manager (formerly PayMaya Business Manager or PBM) are disqualified from participating in this promo.
