If a Maya Savings accountholder did not complete any of the transactions above on the Maya Wallet, he/she will still be enjoying a 4.5% interest rate p.a. on his/her Maya Savings account.
Example:
1st qualified transaction = P200
2nd qualified transaction = P250
Total Accumulated Spend = P450, user qualifies and gets 1.5% int p.a. over the base rate of 4.5% (6% p.a. in effect)
Any amount in excess of the required P250 worth of spend will not be carried over to the next cycle. Once 6% interest p.a. takes effect, the new spend accumulation cycle will start from zero.
