Uncle John's (previously Ministop) is one of the most popular convenience store chains in Japan. Headquartered in Mihama-ku, Chiba Prefecture, it was founded in May 1980. One of its trademarks is having an in-house kitchen, where the staff prepares snacks, sandwiches, and bento boxes.
In 2000, Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc., Mitsubishi Corporation, and Japan's Uncle John's (previously Ministop) Co. Ltd teamed up to bring Uncle John's (previously Ministop) to the Philippines. Since then, the convenience store chain has continued to please its Filipino customers with a variety of high-quality products and top-notch services. As of 2021, Uncle John's (previously Ministop) Philippines maintains a strong presence in key areas, including Metro Manila, South Luzon, and the Visayas.
The company is committed to the enhancement of communities, through excellent services provided in a safe, friendly environment. Uncle John's (previously Ministop) also aims to provide business opportunities through franchising, providing full support to budding entrepreneurs.
Like its Japan counterpart, Uncle John's (previously Ministop) in the Philippines is home to freshly prepared meals and snacks that are not only affordable but also delicious and satisfying. One of the all-time favorites in Uncle John's (previously Ministop) is the kariman, deep-fried sandwiches with a variety of fillings like pepperoni, ham and cheese, and even shawarma.
Ministop is also known for serving crispy and juicy Uncle John's Fried Chicken, Chillz blended drinks, creamy sundaes, and more unique and delicious creations.
There are also a wide range of services you can avail at Ministop. These include package delivery and drop-off, as well as grocery delivery. There are also certain Ministop branches with Robinsons Bank ATMs.
Of course, Ministop also offers e-wallet services. If you have a Maya account, you can cash in through a branch near you. Cashing in to your PayMaya account via Ministop is easy. The process starts with the PayMaya app on your phone, which will generate a barcode for the amount you want to add to your account. Once the cashier at your preferred Ministop branch has scanned this barcode and received your payment, the requested amount will then be credited to your account.
Having added to your PayMaya account, you can then expect to enjoy the convenience of cashless transaction. Along with our growing list of payment partners, you can also make use of PayMaya’s Send Money feature to easily make fund transfers to your loved ones or even shop online through different online merchants. No, cashing in to your PayMaya account through Ministop is free. This will let you enjoy your full desired amount, with no convenience fees when you add to your account through your preferred Mnistop branch.
Cashing in to your PayMaya account through your nearest Ministop location is simple. Just follow these steps:
And that’s it! By following the said steps, you can easily cash in to your PayMaya account at any Ministop branch.
If you’re unable to cash in to your PayMaya account through Ministop, you can add money through our other cash in partners. However, you will be charged a 2% cash in fee, especially when cashing in through our over-the-counter channels. Here’s an example to give you an idea of how the cash in fee is deducted from your account.
Let’s say you cashed in Php 1,000.00 to your account, but since there is a 2% cash in fee, you’ll only receive Php 980.00. Two percent of 1,000.00 is Php 20.00, so the next time you want to cash in Php 1,000.00 (or any amount rather), always keep in mind the 2% cash in fee like so:
Php 1,000.00 x 2% - Php 20.00
Php 1,000 - Php 20.00 = Php 980.00
After your transaction, you’ll receive an SMS confirmation that Php 980.00 has been credited to your PayMaya account.
However, this will be refunded back to your account as long as you have not exceeded your Php 10,000 monthly threshold. The limit will reset on the first day of the succeeding month. If you have already exceeded this monthly limit, then the deducted 2% shall serve as the cash in fee.
Your account has a cash in limit that depends on the type of account you have. Basic PayMaya account holders have a cash in limit of Php 50,000.00. Upgraded accounts, on the other hand, have a cash in fee of up to Php 100,000. If you want to upgrade your account today, visit this page and follow the instructions.
There is a way you can easily keep track of your monthly or daily cash in limits. Here’s how:
Daily cash in limits reset on the next day while monthly limits reset on the first day of the following month.
