Thousands of Filipinos use remittance centers every day. In particular, family members of OFWs often rely on these establishments to receive monthly (or even weekly) financial support. Unbanked consumers also depend on remittance services to transfer funds. This, among many other driving factors, is the biggest reason behind the founding of Direct Agent 5, Inc. or DA5.
As a direct agent of Western Union, DA5 is one of the most reliable remittance centers in the country. They've also grown their humble business to provide even more high-quality services to their customers. This includes Maya cash in, so that account owners can ensure that their e-wallets are always topped up and ready for cashless transactions.
Visit a DA5 branch today and add money to your Maya account!
*Minimum cash in amount is Php100.
*Maximum cash in amount is Php 50,000
*A 2% Convenience Fee will be deducted from the cash in amount.
*All Cash in transactions below Php 8,000 for the month will still incur a 2% fee but will have a 2% rebate.
Direct Agent 5, Inc. or DA5 was founded in 2006 as a joint venture between local cooperatives and companies in the money changing, pawnshop, retail, and food industries. Using the strength of their combined networks, skills, and technologies, the DA5 founders soon established the company as a trustworthy remittance center providing quality, efficient service.
Indeed, DA5's level of professionalism has received international recognition from Western Union itself. After just a year of operations, DA5 was recognized as the direct agent with High Percentage Growth in Transactions in the 2008 Asia-Pacific Agent Summit. To date, this is the fastest that this award has been achieved by a direct agent.
As the DA5 family continues to grow and expand their coverage, it also strives to maintain the quality of their services to help empower Filipino communities.
DA5's primary service is local and international remittance as a direct agent of Western Union. They work with several business partners like pawnshops to further increase the reach of their services. DA5 also accepts bills payment for major utilities and government agencies. Their other services include e-loading and cash-in/cash-out for e-wallets.
If you have a Maya account, you can use DA5 to cash in. Simply open the Maya app, select "Add Money" and then tap on the DA5 logo. Then, visit the nearest DA5 branch to cash in and complete your transaction.

Follow the simple steps below to add money to your PayMaya account at the nearest DA5 branch:
DA5 branches will only accept a minimum of Php 100.00 cash in. In addition, the 7-digit code is single-use only. If you want to cash in again, you need to go through the above steps again and let the PayMaya app generate a new code.
If you have a regular PayMaya account, you can cash in up to Php 50,000.00 per month. If you have an upgraded and verified PayMaya account, the monthly cash in limit is Php 100,000.00. Visit this link to learn more about the other perks you can enjoy when you upgrade your account.
Regarding the cash in threshold, the limit is at Php 10,000.00 per month, regardless of whether you have a regular or an upgraded account. After reaching Php 10,000.00 worth of cash ins, you can still add money to your PayMaya account up to Php 50,000.00 or Php 100,000.00. However, you will no longer receive the 2% cash in fee refund.
Don’t worry because all the monthly limits will refresh on the first day of the following month.
PayMaya has an easy way for you to track all your account transactions. Here’s how:
Daily limits get refreshed every 24 hours, while monthly limits get refreshed on the first day of the month.
As long as you haven’t reached the Php 10,000.00 free cash in limit for the month, then you’ll automatically receive the 2% cash in fee refund after 24 hours. Otherwise, you won’t be eligible again until the threshold gets renewed the following month.
Do note that some PayMaya cash in partners don’t have cash in fees or additional charges at all. Therefore, if you cash in through these channels, you won’t be qualified for any refunds since there are no fees to process.
We at PayMaya know how much you value your security. Thus, PayMaya representatives undergo strict training to provide high-quality service. Our agents, officers, and support staff will not ask you to reveal sensitive information like the following:

The PayMaya cash in process via DA5 is as simple as it gets. First, log in to your PayMaya app and then tap the Cash In icon on the home page. This will open the list of cash in partners; choose DA5 from the list, enter your desired amount, and tap “Continue.” Once done, visit a DA5 outlet to complete the transaction.
DA5 has hundreds of partners in the Philippines. You can rest easy knowing that you always have a way to cash in and keep your PayMaya account ready for digital payments and purchases.
Yes. DA5 and most of PayMaya cash in partners have a 2% cash in fee. Don’t worry because this fee will be refunded after 24 hours, provided that you haven’t reached the Php 10,000.00 cap on free cash ins for the month.
If you have already added Php 10,000.00 or more to your PayMaya account for the month, your succeeding cash ins will no longer qualify for the refunds. You will be eligible to receive the refunds again once the limit resets in the following month.
The 2% cash in fee is like a convenience fee or service charge. Most digital and over-the-counter PayMaya cash in channels charge this fee, which will be deducted from the initial amount that will be credited to your PayMaya account. If you haven’t reached or exceeded that monthly cap for free cash ins at the time of the transaction, the cash in fee will be returned to your account the next day.
For your safety, PayMaya recommends using digital cash-in channels. For those who can only cash in over the counter, don’t forget to follow health and security measures to protect yourself and your loved ones.
PayMaya and its partners charge a fixed 2% for the cash in fee, whether they’re digital or over-the-counter. The same fee is also applicable no matter the amount you want to cash in.
The way the cash in fee works is that 2% will be deducted from the initial amount that will be credited to your account. Then, if you haven’t reached the Php 10,000.00 cap yet at the time you cashed in, the fee will be refunded to your account the next day.
Here’s a sample computation for a cash in transaction worth Php 1,000.00:
Php 1,000.00 x 2% = Php 20.00
Php 1,000 - 20 = Php 980.00
What this means is that when you cash in Php 1,000.00, your PayMaya account will be credited with Php 980.00 at the time of the transaction. On the next day, the Php 20.00 will be refunded to your account if you haven’t reached the Php 10,000.00 monthly cap.
If you have already reached the Php 10,000.00 limit, then you will no longer receive any cash in fee refunds for the month.
Use the sample computation above to compute the cash in fee before you proceed. There’s also a “Recent Activities” section on the bottom half of the PayMaya app’s home screen, where you can view your latest transactions. Tap the “View All” button to see all your transactions, along with a breakdown of fees.
If you notice any incorrect charges, you can contact PayMaya customer support.
